Introducing Hypermode Agents: work with agents that act
Turn ideas into action-ready AI agents. Describe the job, connect your tools, and let Hypermode handle the work while you refine results in real-time

ChatGPT opened a new era of work. For the first time, anyone could hold a dynamic conversation with AI—instantly accessing information, brainstorming ideas, and getting questions answered. It’s been exciting, but you’re ready for more.
Hypermode Agents are the next step. Easy for anyone to use, powerful enough for practically anything. Just as ChatGPT enabled rapid generation in natural language, Hypermode Agents let you prototype, iterate, and activate agents with the same intuitive approach.
And starting today, Hypermode Agents are in public beta. Kickstart your agent journey with Sidekick—your first agent is already waiting.
What is an agent?
An agent is a piece of software that is self-directed in its use of provided tools, data, and actions to achieve an outcome. Think of an agent as a new teammate. The one who already knows the tools, the tasks, and how to get started.
But ultimately making agents productive—just like a new hire—is a communication problem: you must tell the agent what outcome you want. Natural language is the best place to start. Onboarding an agent may require a bit of back-and-forth, but those conversations quickly bring the agent up to speed and eventually the agent will figure out how to make it happen.
Start with Sidekick
Staring at a “blank agent” can be intimidating. That’s why we created Sidekick, a seasoned executive assistant crafted by Hypermode. Sidekick is free on Hypermode’s Hobby plan and gives you a glimpse of what agents can do for you.
It’s already set up and ready to go. It can help you:
- Review your schedule
- Prep for upcoming meetings
- Research who you’re meeting with
Sidekick helps right out of the gate, but to unlock its full potential, it needs access to your calendar.
Built for action
Sidekick, like other agents built in Hypermode, is designed for execution. Instead of giving every agent access to everything, Hypermode takes a role-specific approach. You connect only the tools each agent actually needs.
With connections, you can control agent access to 2,000+ integrations including your internal APIs, third-party apps, and public resources. Toolsets are curated for clarity and safety based on the agent’s role. A personal assistant agent like Sidekick might need read/write access to Google Calendar.
And because tools are connected in a structured way via Model Context Protocol (MCP), agents can reason through them like they do with text, making planning and debugging easier.
From one-off request to repeatable skill
Let’s say you ask Sidekick to prep you for a meeting. It finds the calendar event, checks who’s attending, looks them up, and gives you a briefing.
Now imagine if it remembered that process and could do it again next time, on a schedule.
That’s how tasks work in Hypermode. As you interact with the agent, you can transform that conversation into a repeatable skill: it builds its own playbook, learning the steps it takes and turning them into actions you can schedule or trigger anytime.
Threads lets you stay in conversation with your agent as long as you want. We designed Threads to feel intuitive, especially for non-developers, and its interface is inspired by how teams collaborate over Slack or iMessage. It’s a place to experiment, test ideas, and refine agent behavior before locking anything down.
From idea to agent in natural language
Sidekick shows that you don’t need to be a developer to create your next—or hundredth—agent. Just describe what you want in natural language:
“I need an agent that can monitor our website for outdated landing pages, suggest updates every Monday, and then write new headlines.”
Hypermode turns that prompt into a working scaffold. You state your desired outcome, choose from curated tools, and review the outline of how the agent thinks. The whole process takes minutes.
What makes this work is Concierge, Hypermode’s step-by-step builder agent. Concierge lets you build agents in natural language, but helps you give your agent the right role. That role is authored by another agent that writes clear, structured prompts that models can understand. This means you get better results, faster.
What makes this different
There are plenty of frameworks, tools, and UIs for building agents. Hypermode Agents begin your agent journey in a conversational interface, structured like a live interactive session.
- Skip the “lost in translation” loop. You instruct, guide, and shape agents directly, not your engineering team. See exactly which tools your agent can use and steer behavior mid-task to guide in real-time.
- Separate exploration from production. Experiment freely without technical constraints. Using natural language, you can perfect flows, pipelines, and tasks, then lock down with clarity.
- Iterate effortlessly. Creating and modifying agents requires a few clicks, so building your second agent is as easy as your 2,000th.
Build something real
You've seen what agents can do. Now imagine what yours should do.
Hypermode Agents bring your ideas to life. Automate the busywork, accelerate what matters, and turn your boldest visions into action—all while keeping IT on your side.
